Link preview checker: how your website looks when shared

When someone shares your link, LinkedIn, X, Slack and WhatsApp show a preview from title, description and image. Without Open Graph tags the link looks empty and gets fewer clicks. The checker shows the preview and what's missing.

We store neither the address nor the result. Your IP is only used briefly, hashed, to prevent abuse.

Frequently asked questions

How large should the preview image be?

1200 × 630 pixels at 1.91:1. LinkedIn, X and Facebook show it without cropping.

Why does LinkedIn still show the old image?

LinkedIn caches previews. In the LinkedIn Post Inspector you can refresh the preview.
